Back to School Project: upcycled jello box magnetic pen & pencil holder

With just some scrap paper, a couple Prima flowers and a magnet, you can make this super cute pen and pencil holder for your teen's locker! I made this because Gillian had been begging me to make her something for her locker to hold her pens and pencils.
You need:

a magnet strip, or old magnetic business card from your fridge
a jello box
scrap paper big enough to wrap around the jello box
double sided tape
Prima flowers or other paper flowers
hot glue gun

First cut the open flaps off the top of the box.

Wrap the box like you would a Christmas gift except instead of wrapping the open end, tuck the paper inside and tape it down. Tape the back seams and the bottom seams.

Use the hot glue gun to attach the magnet at the back and the flowers on the front.
And that is pretty much it. Doesn't get much easier than that.
